Awesome wee family run place. Great all day menu, nice coffee and friendly chat. Nice place to take five before continuing on :) Recommend the $19.50 pancakes

Great place to stop for refreshments. They are well stocked and provide a good range of freshly cooked or cabinet food. Log burner in dining area indoors, spacious clean and comfortable settings. Outdoor tables on deck which on a sunny day is a magical spot to enjoy your coffee and meal. Friendly staff and they are dog friendly. Happy to recommend.

My partner and I had a quick stop while we had our car worked on for a bit. Very lovely, charming place. Service was quick and friendly. Food really hit the spot. It has a really small town, homey vibe. Would highly recommend.

The Lonely Stag Café was so good – coffee was absolutely top tier, like one of those ones you keep thinking about after. We got the pancakes and they were delish - stacked with bacon, banana, whipped cream and maple syrup. Just the perfect combo of sweet and salty. Such a cute spot too, felt really chill and comfy. Definitely going back.

Great little country cafe and shop, including a post office and a little general store. Very friendly staff and the good was good. My wife had a seafood basket, which was a huge selection of fried seafood, while I had the stake sandwich, which was good as well.
